My grandson, who is 13, learned to ride this right away and is now riding all over town.

Due to the weather, my child has not had the opportunity to test it out fully, but she has tried using it in the living room. Seems to be a quality piece of merchandise. Shipping was timely and it appears to be a good value.

The Cycle Pro is great and has provided hours of entertainment. I've had problems with the seat post slipping down, under the weight of some riders, and one of my cranks has already come loose, but overall it's a good deal.

4 out of 5 stars Good beginners quality - no instructions   July 18, 2010
JF amazon (Walla Walla, WA, US)
Got this for my husband as a fun new toy. No put-together instructions, but pretty self-explanatory. Husband is 5'9" and it just fits him, so consider the smaller size if you are shorter than that (or if, say, you are going to share the experience of learning to ride with your nephew). Have Fun!

4 out of 5 stars Instructions unnecessary, Amazon's sturdy Avenir scores!   July 29, 2010
John B. Ceccherelli (Endwell, NY United States)
My 14-year-old grandson was intrigued when I sent his 12-year-old brother my prized "Tour-Easy" recumbent. He really flipped after seeing my 20-year-old collegiate grandson demonstrate his 24" Unicycle. Since 14 became 15 within weeks of this visit with us, I counted on Amazon to rise above other's generalized 'reviews' of unicycles: missing parts, weak components, etc.

Forced to remain in Upstate NY, I wasn't able to be in the Chicago area for his birthday surprise. I had Amazon ship the Avernir unicycle, sight unseen (tho well researched). Standard UPS shipping arrived in very few days. Our 14/15 year-old had no problem assembling his recumbent without 'instructions'. They were totally unnecessary, since assembly consisted of installing four identical (and included) screws! He was learning to ride within 30 minutes.

All reports agree the bike is well-made and well-ridden (may it continue to be).

John
